Cryogenic metal bellow seals are specially designed mechanical seals that can operate at extremely low temperatures (well below freezing).

They use a welded metal bellows construction that retains flexibility and strength in cryogenic environments. Often used in cryogenic pumps (like Cryostar pumps), liquefied atmospheric gas systems (liquid nitrogen, oxygen, argon), LNG systems, and other applications where standard materials fail under very low temperatures
